Synopsis:
The sequel to “Run for Your Wife” (which was produced by Stage Right in
2007) finds our bigamist taxi-driver, John Smith, still keeping both his
families (one in Wimbledon and one in Streatham, England) happy and
blissfully unaware of each other. However, his teenage children—one girl and one boy by each wife—have met on the Internet and are determined to see each other in person,
especially as it transpires that they have so much in common! When it dawns on
John that they are about to meet, he plunges into a hell-hole of his own making
in order to keep them apart. His savior could be Stanley, his lodger. Stanley
is about to go on holiday with his decrepit old father, who turns up thinking
he is already at the guest house. The ever-spiraling situation gets
increasingly out-of-hand as John busts a gut to juggle the truth.
Rehearsals:
Rehearsals begin Thursday March 11, 2010, and generally run Monday thru Thursday
evenings, 7–9 p.m. Schedule subject to change based on actoravailability.
Stage Right is always looking for people to help behind the scenes, too. If you

A few words about auditions:
The director for each show will determine how the audition will be run, but
generally, actors are asked to review the show’s synopsis and character descriptions and then indicate on an audition form (to
be completed upon arrival) in which parts they are interested. Actors will be
asked to read a scene from the script and may be asked to read more than once
with other actors.
——————————————————————————
A few words about rehearsals:
REHEARSALS are generally held Mondays through Thursdays at the discretion of the
director. Every effort will be made to create rehearsal schedules which work
around actors prior commitments and typically will allow for smaller roles to
not be at all rehearsals.
Rehearsals usually run from 7 to 9 p.m. at Boyd Community Center.
