Congratulations again to all of the cast
and crew of “Lend Me a
Tenor” I heard many of
our audience members say that this was our best show yet... and
I have to say, I couldn’t have expected more!
Next up is our Winter show, “True West.” OK, so some of you may ask “what’s
up with the dark comedy?” Actually, this is a really
fantastic show which explores the relationship of two brothers
and how things can quickly spiral out of control as they try to
write a Hollywood script. Sam Shepard is one of those
playwrites that is able to write dialogue which is both gritty
and real, and at times bitingly funny.
The Spring ‘09 show, “Barefoot In the Park” barely needs an introduction. Everyone
knows about the newlyweds made famous by Robert Redford and
Jane Fonda in the 1967 film, directed by Gene Saks. Come and
see how they try to love and live in a small NYC apartment,
with a quirky neighbor and a mother that wishes for a elevator.
We have a wonderful audience and I am
really pleased to see so many folks supporting live theater. I
am very proud of what we have been able to do with this
company, and I can only see it getting better and better!
