Congratulations to all of the cast and crew members from our last production, “Caught in the Net.” This talented cast put on six oustanding performances of a very
difficult-to-pull-off comedy. The lines are rapid fire and the action never
stops. Farces always have lots of slamming doors and this show had SIX, count ‘em, six doors!
Once again, we couldn’t have pulled off any of it without the dedication of a wonderful group of
volunteers... THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! It was a great way to finish off what was
a very good season!
While it may appear that Stage Right is taking a much needed break during the
summer, we have in fact been busy planning for the next season and preparing
for our participation in our second year with the Pittsburgh New Works
Festival. Be sure to check out the wonderful work that is being presented
during the months of August and September. (Please visit their site for info
about their performances at www.pittsburghnewworks.org.)
We have a wonderful season planned and I look forward to working together with
our incredibly talented members and volunteers.
You may notice that —due the rising cost of, well... everything!— our individual ticket price has gone up slightly. We have kept our price as low
as possible for many years, and while we try to cut corners wherever we can,
there are some costs that we just cannot control. Don’t worry, we are committed to keeping the free light refreshments as part of the
Stage Right experience, something you won’t find at any other local theater.
I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating... We have a great audience and I am
really pleased to see so many folks supporting live theater in our community. I
am very proud of what we have been able to do with this company, and I can only
see it getting better and better!
